During my trip to Ecuador, I traveled down to Puerto Lopez and took a boat trip to Isla de la Plata. The island is part of the Machalilla national park, and is the home for several types of wildlife. Most famous of the birds there are the blue-footed booby. The male and female look nearly identical, except the female has larger pupils.
